Roosegaarde graduated from The Berlage Institute with a master in architecture. He founded Studio Roosegaarde in 2007, where he works with his team of designers and engineers towards a better future. Together they develop ‘Landscapes of the Future’ building smart sustainable prototypes for the cities of tomorrow. Roosegaarde is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and named Artist of the Year 2016 in The Netherlands.

Carla Cammilla Hjort is the co-founder and director of SPACE10 - a future living lab in Copenhagen - set up in close collaboration with IKEA. Their overall goal is to create opportunities for a better and more sustainable way of living.

Ilina Scott

Lead Creative Strategist - Northern Europe, Google ZOO

Ilina's breadth of experience in strategy and innovation includes working in digital and comms planning at Mindshare, as well as client-side at adidas as global brand strategist. She is currently the lead creative strategist at Google ZOO in Amsterdam. The ZOO is Google’s creative think tank for brands and agencies, using design thinking and sprints to co-create innovative uses of Google tech.

Rafe Offer brings extensive experience to Sofar Sounds having led & consulted for marketing, product development & innovation teams at major global brands including Walt Disney Company, Coca-Cola, Microsoft & UK-based spirits company Diageo. In working across divisions at companies from startup to enterprise, Rafe mastered the ability to develop the strategic vision in order to create a brand experience that resonates with consumers.

Following years of experience in Investment Funding and Marketing, Mark gained the confidence and the know-how to follow his dream and start a business of his own in his hometown, Amsterdam. Sharmadean Reid MBE

Founder, WAH Nails

Brand consultant, stylist, entrepreneur, mentor…Sharmadean Reid has one foot in the street and one foot in the boardroom. Sharmadean started a fanzine called WAH, a reaction to the wave of bootyshaking videos in 2004, in order to promote females in creative industries. With three successful issues sent to “Downtown Girls Worldwide”, Sharmadean took it online, as one of the pioneers of blog culture.

Susie Willis

Founder & Creative Director, Romilly Wilde

Susie Willis challenged the baby food market when she
launched Plum Organic Baby food in 2006, producing
superfoods for babies and using little-known ingredients such
as Quinoa, Spirulina and ancient grains incorporated into
children’s food. Prior to that she ran her successful cookery
school called, The Purple Plum, where she could immerse
herself in the creativity of teaching her clients nutritional recipes
for the family.

Co-Founder & CTO, Trouva

A computer scientist turned entrepreneur, Alex was a member of London's inaugural Entrepreneur First accelerator, as well as being listed in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 lists in the US and Europe in 2016. Alex co-founded Trouva at the age of 25, straight out of University, quickly turning it into the international online marketplace that's building an independent future for the UK’s high streets.

Pip Jamieson is the Founder of The Dots (, a LinkedIn challenger designed around the networking needs of 'No Collar' professionals – creators, freelancers and entrepreneurs. As routine jobs become more automated, these No Collar professionals will represent the future workforce.

Sophie Slater

Co-Founder, Birdsong

Sophie Slater is a 26 year old activist and co-founder of ethical, feminist fashion label Birdsong is powered by women's charities who make beautiful garments, with an ethos of "no sweatshops and no photoshop." When she's not working on her brand, she occasionally runs workshops on body positivity, confidence and zine making for women and girls.
